Community Vision Initiative (CVI) is a Rwanda NGO registered with the Rwanda Government Board (RGB) from November 2012. CVI was assessed by RGB and was recognized and registered as a Legal Entity since May 2015.

CVI’s slogan “for low costs and reliable delivery systems” is taken seriously as there is substantial evidence documenting the positive effects of a range of low-cost, community-based interventions for maternal new-born and child health.

CVI’s approach builds up government engagement with civil society to strengthen effective health systems.

Our Mission
CVI’s mission is to contribute to the promotion of the family health with a focus on the child health and maternal health. In Rwanda, the health sector’s objective is to maximize preventive health measures and build the capacity to have high quality and accessible health care services for the entire population in order to reduce infant, child and maternal morbidity and mortality whereas for social protection, the objective is to achieve effective and sustainable social protection for the poor and vulnerable persons.
Our Vision
CVI aims at identifying known challenges in the Community, disseminating findings from studies and in collaboration with the population, propose solutions and implement adopted strategies in order to improve the welfare of the population.
